Reel TV Ratings: Waco Holds Steady, Versace Dips

Two true crime anthology series air on Wednesday nights and while both hit the same demo score, the steady performance of one is definitely one to pay attention to after its week two dip.

)n The Paramount Network, Waco held steady with another 0.3 demo rating and 824,000 viewers. Last week it hit the same demo score but missed the top 25 for cable TV viewing. This week it lands 22nd and while you may think that’s not too great, it’s definitely decent for cable and for a network that has rebranded itself (Paramount Network was formerly Spike TV).

On FX, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story fell from its previous two weeks of 0.4 demo ratings to a 0.3 and 981,000 viewers. Can’t really explain the slide since the series is top notch but I know its late start and length is an issue for some, so I’ll be looking for DVR numbers on this series soon.
