Reel TV Ratings: (Tuesday) – Will & Grace Holiday Episode Gives NBC A Win

This Is Us may be done for the fall, but NBC managed to rule Tuesday night once again, thanks to a special holiday episode of Will & Grace.

The show’s Christmas episode scored a 1.8 rating in adults 18-49 and 7.13 million viewers. Its demo score allowed the show to be the top-rated scripted offering of the night. A holiday Superstore drew a 1.1 demo rating and 4.41 million viewers, about its usual performance on Thursday nights. Chicago Med hit a 1.2 demo rating and 6.55 million viewers, which was off 0.1 from last week.

ABC was mostly down for the night as a result of the special Will & Grace episode. The Middle (1.2, 5.76 million viewers -0.1), Fresh Off the Boat (0.9, 3.76 million viewers -0.2), Black-ish (1.0, 4.01 million viewers -0.1) and Kevin (Probably) Saves the World (0.6, 2.64 million viewers -0.1) all dipped vs. their last episodes. The Mayor was steady at a 0.7 demo rating and 2.74 million viewers.

The Flash earned a 0.8 demo rating and 2.21 million viewers for The CW, down 0.2 from last week’s crossover episode. Legends of Tomorrow (0.6, 1.63 million viewers) fell 0.3 from its crossover-boosted performance last week but tied its second-best mark of the season.

FOX’s shows were all even with last week’s numbers: Lethal Weapon (1.0, 4.48 million viewers), The Mick (0.8, 2.48 million viewers, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.7, 1.95 million viewers).
