Reel TV Ratings: (Thursday) Will & Grace Holds Steady After Dropping The Last Two Weeks

It looks like Will & Grace has stabilized with a demo score that NBC should be really proud of after dropping off a bit from its premiere a few weeks ago.

With Grey’s Anatomy taking the week off, Will & Grace was Thursday’s top scripted show in adults 18-49. The NBC comedy posted a 1.7 rating in the demographic and 6.51 million viewers, even with last week. Superstore (1.1, 4.21 million viewers) and Chicago Fire (1.1, 6.32 million viewers) were also steady for NBC, while The Good Place (1.1, 3.92 million viewers -0.1) and Great News (0.8, 3.78 million viewers -0.2) dipped some.

Supernatural (0.6, 1.90 million viewers) came down a tenth of a point from its premiere last week but is in line with last season’s average on The CW. Arrow matched the 0.6 & 1.53 million viewers for its premiere. FOX’s Gotham equaled last week’s 0.8 demo score and 2.71 million viewers, while The Orville aired a rerun.

On ABC, Scandal (1.1, 4.67 million viewers) and How to Get Away with Murder (0.9, 3.58 million viewers) each ticked down a tenth.

Can Will & Grace maintain its numbers next week? Check back next Friday for the Thursday ratings recap!
