Reel TV Ratings: (Thursday) – Will & Grace Hits Season Low

Will & Grace may be feeling a bit of the heat from the CBS comedies because the revival hit a new low on Thursday night while CBS remained well ahead of the pack.

Will & Grace’s 1.1 demo rating and 4.13 million viewers were its lowest of the season, off 0.3 from its previous low last week. Chicago Fire was down two tenths to a 0.9 demo rating and 5.23 million viewers for NBC, while Superstore (1.1, 3.85 million viewers), The Good Place (1.0, 3.09 million viewers) and Great News (0.6, 2.39 million viewers) were even with a week ago.

CBS led the night in both adults 18-49 and total viewers. The Big Bang Theory (3.1 rating in adults 18-49, 15.65 million viewers) & Young Sheldon (2.6,14.02 million viewers) were even with last week while Mom (1.6, 9.53 million viewers) and Life in Pieces (1.2, 7.13 million viewers) were down a tenth of a point vs. last week, but they remained above their season averages. SWAT was steady at a 1.1 demo rating and 6.33 million viewers.

The CW aired the Critics Choice Awards on Thursday night in lieu of original programming.
