Reel TV Ratings: (Thursday) – Scandal Ties Season High In The 18-49 Demo

It was a good night for the TGIT lineup on ABC, with two of their shows being steady week to week while one tied its season high.

Scandal’s 1.4 rating in the demographic and its 5.60 million viewers was the best since its premiere and helped ABC finish a close second to CBS in the 18-49 demo for the night. Grey’s Anatomy (2.3, 8.85 million viewers) and How to Get Away with Murder (1.0, 3.66 million viewers) were both steady vs. last week.

The season finale of The Good Place scored a 1.1 demo rating and 3.17 million viewers on NBC, even with last week and with last season’s final episode. AP Bio premiered to a 0.9 demo score and 3.18 million viewers, which is better than the 0.7 season average for Great News but not exactly a stellar start. Superstore (1.1, 3.46 million viewers), Will & Grace (1.2, 4.07 million viewers) and Chicago Fire (1.0, 5.61 million viewers) all slipped a tenth of a point vs. their last new episodes.

The Big Bang Theory (2.8, 14.46 million viewers) and Young Sheldon (2.3, 12.88 million viewers) were down a tenth apiece for CBS, while Mom (1.6, 9.24 million viewers), Life in Pieces (1.2, 7.08 million viewers) and SWAT (1.0, 6.21 million viewers) all matched their last episodes two weeks ago.

Supernatural (0.6, 1.69 million viewers) and Arrow (0.4, 1.24 million viewers) both held steady week to week on The CW.
