Thursday ratings were kind to the shows airing on Fox while Grey’s Anatomy took its first hit of the season.
Gotham (0.9 in adults 18-49, 2.83 million viewers) rose a tenth of a point for FOX, and The Orville (1.2, 4.15 million viewers) improved by two tenths vs. its last episode two weeks ago. That’s the show’s best rating since moving to Thursdays.
Grey’s Anatomy returned to ABC from a week off with a 1.8 demo score and 7.61 million viewers, tied for the night’s best scripted performance but off 0.3 vs. its last episode. Scandal (1.1, 4.91 million viewers) and How to Get Away with Murder (0.9, 3.61 million viewers) were steady.
At NBC, Superstore (1.2 , 4.57 million viewers, +0.1), Will & Grace (1.8, 6.64 million viewers, +0.1), Great News (1.0, 4 million viewers,+0.2) and Chicago Fire (1.2, 6.54 million viewers, +0.1) all rose a little. The Good Place was even with last week at a 1.1 demo rating and 3.98 million viewers.
On The CW, Arrow (0.5, 1.37 million viewers) was even with last week, while Supernatural was off a tenth at a 0.6 demo rating and 1.94 million viewers.
