Reel TV Ratings: (Sunday) – Golden Globe Awards On Par With Last Year’s Performance

The Golden Globe Awards gave NBC a solid win and it was pretty much even with its year to year performance.

The show drew a 13.4 household rating in the metered markets, up a tenth of a point from 13.3 last season. NBC’s broadcast is off some in the fast nationals (4.2 in adults 18-49 vs. 4.8), but it will likely adjust up in the finals. NBC is likely to release time zone-adjusted ratings later today.

On FOX, an NFL wild-card game on bled into primetime and helped deliver season highs for the network’s lineup. The Simpsons (3.4, 9.06 million viewers), Ghosted (1.8, 4.30 million viewers), Family Guy (1.6, 3.47 million viewers) and The Last Man on Earth (1.1, 2.72 million viewers) all had their best showings of the season in adults 18-49.

On CBS, Wisdom of the Crowd (0.7, 5.79 million viewers) was down 0.3 vs. its last episode (which got a boost from an NFL game), NCIS: Los Angeles was steady with a 0.9 demo score and 7.84 million viewers while Madam Secretary slipped a tenth to a 0.6 demo rating and 6.07 million viewers.
