Reel TV Ratings: (Friday) – MacGyver Returns Lower In The 18-49 Demo

As usual, CBS led Friday night but the network was slightly down during some of its lineup.

MacGyver returned with a 0.9 demo rating and 7.21 million viewers – just one-tenth less than its previous 1.0 – and Blue Bloods similarly scored a 0.9 demo rating and 9.22 million viewers. After taking the previous week off, Hawaii Five-o returned with a new episode last night and landed above every other program in Friday’s primetime slate this week. The CBS series scored a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 with 8.50 million viewers.

NBC’s Taken fell from a 0.5 to a 0.4 demo score and 2.52 million viewers this week. This does not bode well for the show’s future since these numbers are pretty sub-par, even for a Friday. Blindspot scored a 0.6 demo rating and 3.29 million viewers for the second week in a row.

Jane the Virgin managed to tick up one-tenth to a 0.3 demo rating and 670,000 viewers on The CW and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend held steady with a 0.2 demo rating and 666,000 viewers.

Lastly, Agents of SHIELD (0.6, 2.19 million viewers) held steady for ABC for the second week in a row.
