Reel Top 10: Disney Live-Action Films

This weekend, Beauty and the Beast hits theaters everywhere, the latest addition to Disney Studios’ current love of live-action remakes. Since Maleficent in 2014 and Cinderella in 2015, and the breathtaking 2016 release, The Jungle Book, Disney has announced a slew of new versions of all their animated classics. Mulan, The Lion King, Pinocchio, and The Sword in the Stone will all be remade into live-action versions of their previous animated selves in a way of rekindling the original magic of those animated films.

However, Disney studios have been making live-action films since the 50’s. During that time, Disney has taken us on musical adventures, flights of imagination, under the sea, into the jungle and throughout time. This week’s Reel Top 10 will focus on the 10 best live-action Disney films. From the 50’s to 2016, there are films represented throughout the decades in this 10!

What is your favorite Disney live-action film?
