Reel Coming Soon: A Quiet Place (Superbowl Spot)

Probably the most surprising of the Superbowl spots was for A Quiet Place, a new thriller starring Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.

I say surprising because it doesn’t scream like a film that needed a coveted spot during the big game but it certainly looks interesting and could end up being a nice surprise for genre fans. The film depicts a family living in quiet solitude in the woods, keyword being quiet. They use sign language, which we soon see is a choice, not a necessity.

The film is actually directed by Krasinski and it’s the first time the real life married couple have shared the screen together. A Quiet Place opens on April 6. Check out the Superbowl spot below:
