Murder on the Orient Express Sequel in the Works

Fox is looking to continue the success of Murder On The Orient Express with the news that the follow up Death on the Nile is in the works. Death on the Nile was first published in 1937 and saw Moustache, the famous detective on a vacation in Egypt and becomes involved in a love triangle gone wrong which eventually leads to murder.

Michael Green, who is responding for adapting the screenplay for Orient Express has been assigned with writing. It has also been reported that Kenneth Branagh is expected to return as director and reprise his role as Poirot.

Murder On The Orient Express has grossed $150 million worldwide since its Nov. 10 opening, which lead to the sequel being greenlit.
