Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese are reteaming for a Teddy Roosevelt biopic. Entitled Roosevelt, the drama about the former U.S. president will be written by Scott Bloom. DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson are producing through their Appian Way banner, with Scorsese and Emma Koskoff through Sikelia.
Teddy Roosevelt served as the 26th U.S. president from 1901 to 1909, taking office after president William McKinley was assassinated. At 42 years old, the vice president then became the youngest president in American history. DiCaprio and Scorsese have previously teamed on Gangs of New York, The Aviator, Shutter Island, The Departed and The Wolf of Wall Street.
