Kurt Russell to Play Santa Claus in Netflix Christmas Movie

Kurt Russell has landed his next role!

The popular actor will be dawning the red suit as Santa Claus as he is teaming with Judah Lewis, the star of Netflix’s horror-comedy film The Babysitter, to star in an untitled Christmas movie On Netflix.

Chris Columbus is producing the film while Clay Kaytis will be directing the film that centers around two siblings (Lewis and Camp) who try to prove that Santa is real by catching him on camera which causes   his sleigh to crash in Chicago, they have to help St.Nick save Christmas.  Production on the movie is due to commence in January with an eye to releasing it for the holiday season in 2018.
