Jessica Chastain in talks to join IT Sequel

Late last year, the cast of IT were interviewed as to who the kids would like to play their adult counterparts in the upcoming sequel to IT. Sophia Lillis, who played Beverly in 2017’s critically acclaimed hit stated that she would want Jessica Chastain to play adult Beverly. Her dream may come true as Jessica Chastain is in talks to join the cast of the film.

First reported by Variety, Chastain is in talks for the film, which is scheduled for release in September 2019. Along with Chastain being rumored to join the film,Sophia Lillis and Bill Skarsgård are also set to return as Beverly Marsh in flashbacks and Pennywise.

Fans of the Stephen King novel know that all of the Losers will have traumas that linger from their youth in Derry, and the resurrection of Pennywise serves as the catalyst for dealing not only Pennywise but their childhood traumas.
