Episode 27 – Gossip Girl 10th Anniversary Celebration

[powerpress]

Hey there, Upper East Siders. Gossip Girl here. It’s summer in the Big Apple and life is certainly heating up for our scandalous elite. Queen Blair was spotted shopping at Tiffany’s with her new beau, who my sources report is European royalty. She’s never looked happier, and by that I mean she’s never looked less upset. Meanwhile, Serena’s astonishingly poor decision-making skills is causing problems in the Van Der Woodsen house. It’s nothing a little intense family therapy won’t fix, but nothing is ever simple when there are unrequited feelings for a singularly ill-advised romantic partner who is not Dan involved.

Rumor has it that Lonely Boy Dan Humphrey was spotted scribbling furiously in a notebook that may or may not have “TOP SECRET GOSSIP GIRL STUFF” written on the front in black sharpie. What a guy! I mean, Dan’s just so great. I hear he finished a book that is guaranteed to sell many copies and will be in stores on September 27th so mark your calendars. Wow. So impressive. You should all definitely pay attention to him a lot forever. As for our favorite bad boy Chuck, he was spotted holding court with his shareholders at Polo Bar. Is the Empire in trouble? If you have a tip, don’t forget to email me at tips@gossipgirl.com.

So far, everything seems to be in place for the Gala Ball. Rumor has it that human labrador Nate is showing up with Betty White – never say he doesn’t have a type! The only thing that could possibly go wrong at this point is goddamn Charlie gate-crashing again, which is to say that the script requires that happening at least twice. Did I mention how much I like Dan? Make sure you take lots of pictures of Dan.

Oh and make sure you share our very special episode with your friends and visit Reel Talk to read Gaius’ tributes on 10 years of me.

That’s all I’ve got for you today, Upper East Siders. See you at the party and remember – I’m always watching you.

XOXO,

Gossip Girl
