Coming Soon: Suburbicon

The trailer for the upcoming film, Suburbicon has been released. Suburbicon is directed by George Clooney and is a dark comedy about mobsters entering a suburb in a  1950s neighborhood.

What adds to the anticipation to the film is that is not only directed by George Clooney, but the film is written by the Coen brothers. Suburbicon stars Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, and Oscar Isaac.

What sticks out about the trailer is that the film’s looks resembles  a Coen brothers’ film. While the film feels with its director and writers that it is aiming for an Oscar push, the subject matter is not something that Academy always goes for. Suburbicon will be released October 27th, 2017.
