It’s here!! It’s here!! The full trailer for Avengers: Infinity War debuted this morning on Good Morning America. Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, is the big bad in the latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, assembling characters from the films of the past ten years.
Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige has said that this is to be considered a farewell to many of the franchise’s beloved characters with a new class – Black Panther and Captain Marvel, for example, coming in. “We have another two years of hard work to even finish these movies, and [the actors] have a lot of hard work to do. All we’re thinking about is completing (those movies) and delivering on the promise of those. Where it goes beyond that, we’ll see.”
In a recent Vanity Fair profile released on Tuesday, Feige also stated that Marvel has films planned for the next twenty years, not counting the films currently in and post-production such as Ant-Man and the Wasp.
We can’t wait to see what else they have up their sleeve but until then, let’s enjoy the new trailer below.
