Chance the Rapper to Star in Slice in Late 2017

Chance the Rapper is ready to make his big screen debut.

Born Chancellor Johnathan Bennett, the hip-hop star shot Slice, a feature film last summer in Chicago written by his creative partner Austin Vesely. Slice follows an “outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys”.

A24 has picked up the rights to the film and plans to release late next year.
