Bryan Singer Fired From Directing Queen Biopic

In what would fall under the most unsurprising news of the week, Bryn Singer has been fired from the upcoming Queen bio-pic. The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter. In a statement on Monday, 20th Century Fox stated,

“Bryan Singer is no longer the director of Bohemian Rhapsody,”

The decision seemed to have stemmed from a growing rivalry between  Singer and Rami Malek. The clashing between both men was evident on set and lead to a shut down of production on December 1st. Sings behavior leveled immaturity as he went missing during production on several occasions. His constant no-shows on set eventually led to cinematographer Thomas Newton Sigel having to step in to direct in Singer’s absent.
