Daisy Ridley will play American spy Virginia Hall in an upcoming biopic based on the forthcoming biography, A Woman of No Importance, from Sonia Purnell.
Paramount Pictures has acquired rights to the book. The film will be produced by Bad Robot owned by filmmaker J.J. Abrams. No screenwriter or director has yet been named.
Virginia Hall was a Baltimore native with a gift for languages, who after failing to join the Foreign Service, went on to work for British intelligence in France after the Nazis invaded. She later served the American Office of Strategic Services and its successor, the CIA.
No release date has yet been set for A Woman of No Importance.
