Thor: Love and Thunder is set to feature an Asgardian play, this time recapping the events of Thor: Ragnarok. This concept worked really well in the previous film & this allows Taika Waititi to deliver some memorable cameos.
Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth, and Sam Neill have all been enlisted to play Asgardian actors, but what about Hela? Mailonline has confirmed that Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy will be taking on the role of Thor and Loki’s villainous sister.
Melissa McCarthy as Fake Hela in Thor: Love and Thunder
will feature another Asgardian play, this time recapping the events of Thor: Ragnarok. It’s a clever way to bring fans up to speed with what happened to the God of Thunder the last time we saw him, and an excuse for filmmaker Taika Waititi to deliver some memorable cameos.
Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth, and Sam Neill have all been enlisted to play Asgardian actors (you can see them in action here), but what about Hela? Well, thanks to Mail Online, we now know that Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy will be taking on the role of Thor and Loki’s villainous sister.
