In the spirit of franchises creating their own cinematic universe, Universal is set to relaunch their popular monster movies, by creating a new monster universe. The latest news is that Javier Bardem is in negotiations to play Frankenstein.
Bardem would join a list that already includes Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe in The Mummy and Johnny Depp as the Invisible Man. The character would be intertwined in between these films; however, there is no word on whether or not, a stand alone film would be a part of Bardem’s deal. What are your thoughts on this casting news?
