A24 continues to be one of the best studios for independent films in the industry. After a competitive battle, A24 has won the North American rights to Claire Denis’ next film, Stars At Noon.
The deal is set to be a low-seven-figure deal which reunites Denis with her High-Life collaborator Robert Pattinson and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood breakout Margaret Qualley attached.
Stars At Noon is set
in 1984 during the Nicaraguan Revolution, the film follows a mysterious English businessman and headstrong American journalist who strike up a passionate romance. They soon become embroiled in a dangerous labyrinth of lies and conspiracies and are forced to try and escape the country, with only each other to trust and rely on.
