After last years success of Stephen King’s IT, the craze to release adaptations of his works is at an all time high. With that being said, news has broke that Fox is developing a horror movie based on Stephen King’s short story The Boogeyman. The added bonus is that the film will be written by A Quiet Place screenwriters Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.
The Boogeyman was first published in 1973 and takes place in a psychiatrist’s office where a man describes the murders of his three young children with all three dying after crying “Boogeyman.”
No word on when the film will be released or go into development.
