One of 2016’s most well received films was the follow up to Keanu Reeves’s John Wick. John Wick 2 was not only critically acclaimed, but the film did really well at the box office. With that being said, production on John Wick 3 is officially underway. To celebrate the film’s beginning of production, cinematographer Dan Laustsen, who also worked on John Wick 2 took to Instagram to announce that production has officially started. He has posted a couple of photos from the set so far.
Following the conclusion of Chapter 2, John Wick: Chapter 3, has the titular character on the run. He’s being hunted thanks to a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life because he broke a central rule by taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. Wick killed a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John Wick 3 is set to release in 2019.
