In a series of tweets today, director M. Night Shyamalan announced a sequel to 2000’s Unbreakable and last year’s Split. The film will be titled Glass and will release in theaters on January 18, 2019 with the original cast from both films.
Shyamalan has always been interested in making turning Unbreakable into a trilogy chronicling the rise of everyday superhero David Dunn (Bruce Willis) and his ultimate nemesis Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson). Based on the title alone, fans should expect a good amount of screen time for Jackson and Willis with some James McAvoy and all of his personalities.
Universal Pictures will release #Glass on January 18, 2019 all over the world. How’s that for not keeping a secret!
