Snowfall Renewed For Season 2

FX Network is going to stick around in the 80s. The network has renewed Snowfall for a second season.

Set in 1983, Snowfall chronicles the rise of the crack cocaine epidemic and its impact on the culture. Damson Idris, Peris Mencheta, Carter Hudson and Emily Rios star.

The show, which aired its sixth episode Wednesday night, has been averaging 5 million total viewers across linear and VOD platforms. The series premiere ranks in the top five of most key demos among all new cable drama premieres this year when factoring in seven days of DVR, including the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 (fourth), adults 18-34 (fourth) and adults 25-54 (fifth).
