Beginning this May, Regal Entertainment Group, owner of one of the largest theater chains in the U.S., is set to unveil a microwavable version of its popcorn in over 13,000 Dollar General stores. For the ultimate entertainment experience, Regal fans can enjoy their favorite popcorn right at home. In addition, customers who purchase the treat will receive a coupon for $1 off a concession combo at Regal theaters.
John Curry, Senior Vice President of Food Service & Cinebarre at Regal Entertainment Group, stated that,
“Regal’s partnership with Dollar General is the perfect way to offer guests the same buttery flavor that they love in theatres, with an amazing level of affordability and convenience. Now, Regal fans can pick up a box of their favorite popcorn on-the-go to enjoy movie night anytime.”
