Quantico has been renewed for a third season on ABC. The drama who was on the fence in terms of renewal or cancellation will be brought back for a shorter run of 13 episodes. Quantico was the one series from ABC’s 2016-17 whose fate remained unresolved heading into this week’s upfront presentation in New York after last week’s set of renewals, cancellations, and new series pickups by ABC. While Josh Safran will remain with the show’s third season as a consultant, he is no longer its show runner. A search for a new showrunner for the drama is now underway.
