It seems that Fox has not learned their lesson after 2015’s critical and commercial failure, Fantastic Four. They’ve been eyeing ways to revive the Fantastic Four franchise for the big screen despite the failure of 2015’s release. Thursday at the Legion panel at San Diego Comic Con, creator Noah Hawley revealed that he is developing a movie for Fox that fans may be interested in.
“Two words,” he said. “Doctor. Doom.”
Hawley is developing a feature project that will center around one of Marvel Comics’ most recognizable villains and the Fantastic Four’s main arch nemesis, Doctor Doom. The character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and Fox has the movie rights. The studio has been looking to reboot and re-imagine the franchise and with the recent news that Venom would be receiving his own film, Fox is following with the idea of a Dr. Doom film.
