John Cusack and Christina Ricci are set to star in the upcoming thriller Distorted from Minds Eye Entertainment.
Ricci will play an artist who is suffering from bi-polar disorder and has just lost her child. After losing her child, she begins to have memories that prompt her and her husband to move from their home into an upscale apartment building. When she suspects the building’s owner of a plot to subliminally subjugate the residents, she looks for the help of an investigative journalist (Cusack) with an interest in cyber conspiracy. Production will begin at the end of this month in British Columbia. Distorted will be using multiple formats in its filming, including multiscreen Barco Escape and virtual reality.
