Henry Cavill Joins Cast of Mission: Impossible 6

The Man of Steel has officially joined the cast of the latest Mission Impossible film. Director Christopher McQuarrie announced the news that Henry Cavill has signed on to the upcoming sixth film in the MI franchise. While the news of Cavill joining the franchise is exciting, it is the way he did it that was even cooler. On Thursday evening, through Instagram, McQuarrie stated,

“Say, @henrycavill. Had a thought. Curious if you’re interested in a role in the 6th installment of Mission: Impossible. No pressure.,” the director wrote to caption a photo of himself atop a rocky outcrop near a river.”

While Cavill responded with, “Oh ok…I’m in!”
