Hellboy 3 is a no go according to director Guillermo del Toro. Del Toro confirmed on Twitter yesterday that after weeks of speculation and talks with producers and star Ron Perlman, the threequel is officially off.
Hellboy 3 Sorry to report: Spoke w all parties. Must report that 100% the sequel will not happen. And that is to be the final thing about it

Previously, del Toro has been asked if a third installment was possible to which he said,
“We have gone through basically every studio and asked for financing, and they are not interested. I think that the first movie made its budget back, and a little bit of profit, but then it was very, very big on video and DVD.”
Del Toro is currently filming Pacific Rim: Uprising.
