Friday The 13th Reboot Shut Down

It looks like Jason Vorhees will not be hitting the big screen again anytime soon!

With only six weeks go to before the start of principal photography on the slasher reboot, Paramount has shut down the latest version of the popular Friday The 13th.

Before being slashed the way Jason slashes his victims, the film was in preproduction and expected to released on October 13th.

While the exact reason for the film being shut down is unclear, the performance of last week’s latest horror sequel, Rings might be one of the reasons as the film did not perform  as well as studios execs had expected at the box office.
