Dunkirk Early Reactions Praise Christopher Nolan’s WWII Film

In an era where embargoes are heavily monitored by fans, it is always good to see when studios have confidence in their films to release early reactions two weeks in advanced. The latest film to receive that treatment is one of the most anticipated films of 2017, Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk.

Social media reactions for Dunkirk have been released, and the verdict is it’s another epic piece of filmmaking from the fan-favorite auteur. After overwhelming success of The Dark Knight Trilogy, Nolan became one of the few directors working today who can sell any project with his name alone, if it’s a Christopher Nolan film, there will be interest and despite some of his films being divisive, all of his films over the last 10 years  have earned widely positive reviews and done well at the box office.

Will Dunkirk finally be the film to earn Christopher Nolan an Oscar nomination? From the first reactions, that may be the case.

It looks like another hit for Nolan and like some of Nolan’s films, Dunkirk’s divisiveness will stem from the lack of dialogue in the film. Nolan has spoken before about how Dunkirk is different from anything he’s worked on before and lack of dialogue is that big difference. However, It does not take away from the excitement from the release of Dunkirk which opens next Friday, July 21, 2017.
