The trailer for James Franco’s The Disaster Artist has been released. The Disaster Artist chronicles the story of the filming of one, if not the worst film ever made, Tommy Wiseau’s The Room. The film has gone on to gain a cult following despite its awfulness. The script is based on the book written by writer-director-star Wiseau’s best friend Greg Sestero and stars Franco as Wiseau with his brother Dave as Sestero. Seth Rogen also co-stars.
The film has already received positive reviews since its premiere and has already gained some Oscar talk. The Disaster Artist will premiere Dec. 8, 2017.
